Blayne Chastain : Design and General Shenanigans a.k.a “Flute Boy” Blayne’s introduction to web design was through a college elective on HTML programming in 1995. Back then, cool web design equated to getting your text to flash! Web design has certainly come a long way since then and so have Blayne’s abilities. Over the past 5 years Blayne has been running a successful ecommerce business (whistleanddrum.com). His success has led many to seek him out for ecommerce consultation, from interface design to search engine marketing, as well as general web development. In addition to web development, Blayne is also the music director for Saint Patrick Presbyterian Church in Greeley, Colorado and just returned from Ireland from obtaining a masters degree in traditional Irish music performance on the Irish flute. “That and a nickel will get you a cup of coffee around here.” says Blayne. Perhaps that’s why he’s keeping his day jobs.
Rick Destree : Design and Development a.k.a. “Decaf” Rick has been designing and implementing web sites for over ten years, which makes him “nerdy” by most accounts. One of his most recent projects involved programming payroll software for missionaries living overseas, using Php and MySql to create a friendly user interface for tracking personal financial information. Through this time, he also became well acquainted with server maintenance and project management. Rick is very familiar with Drupal CMS, and uses it frequently for custom web work. Aside from the joys of programming large modules, Rick also designs logos and layouts for his own and others’ websites. His own website (drinkdecaf.com) is a large hobby, along with drawing, sculpting and video games, which take up far too much of his time.
